Kanye West and Nine Inch Nails closed the Lollapalooza festival in Chicago's Grant Park last night (August 3).

Around 75,000 fans had attended the festival, which had completely sold out for the first time in its history.

West took the AT&T stage at 8:30PM (EST), playing a set including 'Flashing Lights', 'Shine', 'Golddigger' and 'Homecoming', reports Billboard.

The rapper's show included an dazzling light show plus backing singers, a live percussionist and DJ. West performed his customary cover of 'Don't Stop Believin'' by Journey during the show.

Nine Inch Nails performed on the Bud Lite stage at the same time as West's headline show, playing a set including '1,000,000', 'March Of The Pigs', 'Hurt', 'In This Twilight' and 'Closer'.

Frontman Trent Reznor was on frenetic form, baring his teeth then yelling "Let's fucking do this" before leading his band through the aforementioned 'Closer'.

Other bands who had performed on the final day of the festival included Gnarls Barkley, Chromeo, White Lies, Girl Talk and Mark Ronson.

Radiohead headlined the first day of Lollapalooza on Friday (August 2), playing after the likes of Bloc Party, The Raconteurs and Duffy.
