Kanye West tests new song on Jenny Lewis without realising

Rapper has been previewing new material in airports

Kanye West has asked Rilo Kiley singer Jenny Lewis to rate material from his new album - without realising who she was.

Lewis revealed that the rapper and producer has been previewing material from his new album, tentatively titled '808s And Heartbreak', in US airports, reports EW.com.

"We missed our flight and had to wait a couple of hours in the lounge. I noticed Kanye West was waiting for the same flight," she recalled. "He looked over and said, 'excuse me, would you mind listening to my new track?' And so he put his headphones on my head and I listened to two of his new songs. I guess he was doing research."

Lewis claims that the hip-hop star had "no idea" who she was.

Kanye West recently admitted he's re-recorded new track 'Love Lockdown', after a negative fan reaction when the song leaked online.
