Rapper comes face to face with his own 'beast' in the surreal 'We Were Once A Fairytale'

A short film collaboration between Kanye West and director Spike Jonze has surfaced online.

The pair revealed they were working together on a project in the summer and have now premiered their film 'We Were Once A Fairytale'.

The film, which is roughly ten minutes long, follows West, who plays a drunk version of himself who is generally being obnoxious at a nightclub.

Following an imagined tryst the rapper-producer finds himself vomiting rose petals in the surreal video, and eventually comes face to face with a small furry creature in the club's bathroom who looks like he would be more at home in Jonze' forthcoming motion picture 'Where The Wild Things Are'.
