Kanye West has been given 50 hours community service following a scuffle with photographers at Los Angeles airport last year.

During the incident a selection of camera equipment was broken and criminal charges were brought against the rapper and his manager Don Crawley.

Earlier criminal charges against West and his manager have now been dismissed after the case was settled out of court.

West's attorney told the court that he was 'wildly overcharged' after city attorneys filed misdemeanour, battery, vandalism and grand theft charges against the rapper.

Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner Mark Zuckman dismissed the case, but ordered both men to carry out 50 hours of community service.
