Kanye West is "practically in tears" that a sex tape that allegedly features the rapper cavorting with a look-a-like of his new girlfriend Kim Kardashian is being shopped around, according to reports.

Radar claims that West is "freaking out" that the X-rated video, which he supposedly shot with a female acquaintance in a hotel room, is being offered to interested parties who would be prepared to pay a "fortune" to obtain the footage.

Reports allege that the hip-hop star is seen setting up the camera at the start of the 20-minute tape, which was filmed before he started dating Kardashian. Meanwhile, the woman – who is said to bear a striking resemblance to the reality TV star – reveals that she is married and tells the camera: "My husband and I don't have sex anymore, that’s why I’m here."

A source said: "The sex tape is being shopped right now and there's a lot of interest, but Kanye is freaking out. He doesn't want this tape out and will do anything to make sure it stays private."

They added:

If this were to hit the market it would be worth a fortune. There would definitely be a lot of people wanting to see this. Kanye was practically in tears when he heard the tape was being shopped.

Ironically, it was reported earlier this month that West had penned a rap about Kardashian's notorious sex tape for his new 'Cruel Summer' compilation, with the track 'Clique' featuring the lines: "Eat breakfast at Gucci/My girl a superstar all from a home movie". Kardashian's saucy tape, which was filmed with American singer and actor Ray J, was released under the title Kim Kardashian: Superstar and helped transform her into a household name.

'Cruel Summer' was released on September 12 and contains 12 tracks in all and features all the acts signed to West's GOOD Music label including Mr Hudson, 2 Chainz, Kid Cudi, Pusha T and Big Sean. The LP also features guest appearances from R Kelly, who duets with West on the album opener 'To The World', West's 'Watch The Throne' partner Jay-Z, who guests on 'Clique' alongside Big Sean, and John Legend, who appears on the track 'Bliss' alongside Teyana Taylor.  Scroll down to listen to excerpts from the album.
