GOOD Music artist Pusha T has confirmed rumours that plans for a follow-up to the Kanye West helmed 'Cruel Summer' compilation album have been scrapped.
Speaking to MTV News, the rapper echoed comments recently made by Common.
Pusha T said: "I believe that there were intentions for a 'Cruel Winter' and there's so much music floating, but GOOD Music isn't one to just piece a project together."
However, he added that things were definitely recorded for the mooted album, saying: "I can tell you right now, I probably have 15 verses that are just over beats, that are lying around wherever 'Ye and his hard drive is right now, and I'm sure Cyhi, Sean, Cudi, Tip, everybody has other production or verses on these records as well."
Earlier this year, Common spoke about the rumoured follow-up to 'Cruel Summer', telling Vulture: "Oh, yeah, nah, nah. I don't think that's happening. It was more of a rumour - cats been creating, but everybody’s been doing their solo album. So that's what that is."
Rapper Q-Tip had previously stated that 'Cruel Winter' was definitely happening.
