Kanye West has confirmed that Daft Punk, Bon Iver's Justin Vernon and super-producer Rick Rubin have all contributed to his new album 'Yeezus'.

West debuted his eagerly-anticipated new album at a listening party in New York last night (June 10) that was attended by Jay-Z, Beyoncé, Timbaland, Busta Rhymes and Q-Tip as well members of the media and record industry executives, The Huffington Post reports.

West played the entire ten-track album for guests twice and clarified his reasons for naming it 'Yeezus'. "I want to explain something about the album title. Simply put, 'West' was my slave name and 'Yeezus' is my God name," he said.

Last week (June 6), Daft Punk were confirmed as co-writers of a new Kanye West track called 'Black Skinhead'. At the listening party, West revealed this isn't the French duo's only contribution to 'Yeezus', saying they worked on "three or four joints" including 'On Site' and 'I Am A God'.

He also confirmed guest appearances from Chief Keef, King Louie and Kid Cudi and revealed that Bon Iver's Justin Vernon appears on a track called 'Can't Handle My Liquor'. Perhaps most surprisingly, West went on to explain that super-producer Rick Rubin (Johnny Cash, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Beastie Boys) had been brought in to help finish the album and served as its executive producer. "Everything I've been doing, from the 'New Slaves' video to the album with no artwork, I've been thinking, 'What would Rick Rubin do?'" he told guests.

The previous night (June 9), West had debuted brand new material from 'Yeezus' during a performance at the Governors Ball festival in New York. The album is due for release next Monday (June 17).
