Miley Cyrus producer confirms pop star has worked with Kanye West on remix

Rumours that Miley Cyrus has worked with Kanye West on a remix to his track 'Black Skinhead' have been confirmed.

It was previously reported that Cyrus was rumoured to have missed the MTV VMA after party to work on a new remix with West earlier this month. Cyrus, who caused controversy with her now infamous twerking dance routine while performing with Robin Thicke during the ceremony, reportedly went straight from the event to a studio with West to record a remix of his song 'Black Skinhead'.

This has now been confirmed by producer Mike Will, who has worked with Cyrus on her new album and produced the chart-topping hit 'We Can't Stop'. Speaking to RapFix Live host Sway Callahan, Will said: "It’s about done, we’re just touching the beat up a little bit. It’s sounding crazy." He was also quizzed on how Kanye had reacted to the controversial twerking, saying that the 'Yeezus' rapper had no issue with it. "He told her she did it right, too. Ye is someone who understands. I think someone who understands isn’t going to have anything to say about the performance."

Miley Cyrus recently claimed that she wanted to "make history" with her controversial performance at the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) on August 25. The performance became an incredibly hot topic online and drew criticism from a leading US parents' group and the inventor of the foam finger, who claimed that the singer had "degraded" an "icon".
