Kanye West has postponed the remainder of his 'Yeezus' tour after a truck carrying the 60-foot circular LED screen and custom-made video truss crashed, destroying the items.

TMZ reports that because of yesterday's (October 30) incident, tonight's show in Vancouver has been cancelled and gigs in Anaheim, Denver and Minneapolis will be postponed while the equipment is rebuilt.

Kanye West had already postponed his Vancouver tour date. The rapper was supposed to be performing at Vancouver's Rogers Arena on October 20, but the arena tweeted that the show had been postponed and would instead be taking place on October 31.

A statement given to Pitchfork confirms that the Vancouver, Denver and Minneapolis dates have been postponed with further announcements about the rest of the tour due shortly. The statement reads: "Yesterday, on the road to Vancouver, a truck carrying The Yeezus Tour’s custom-made video truss and 60-ft circular LED screen was in an accident that damaged the gear beyond repair. This gear is central to the staging of The Yeezus Tour, and central to the creative vision put forth by Kanye West and his design team at DONDA. As a result of this event, it is impossible to put on the show and The Yeezus Tour will be postponed until these essential pieces can be reengineered and refabricated. Kanye West will not compromise on bringing the show, as it was originally envisioned and designed, to his fans."

West's 'Yeezus' tour began in Seattle, Washington on October 19. The stage at the 17,500-capacity Key Arena was partly covered by a giant mountain from which West delivered several raps. At one point, West was joined onstage by a Jesus Christ lookalike, and for several tracks he was accompanied by a troupe of backing dancers. West's first solo tour in five years, it runs until December 7, taking in shows across North America.
