Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are suing a co-founder of YouTube for uploading footage of their engagement to the internet.

The rapper proposed to Kardashian last month, enlisting the help of a 50-piece orchestra to play Lana Del Rey's 'Young and Beautiful' as he popped the question in front of friends and family at the AT&T Park stadium in San Francisco. Chad Hurley was not invited to the proposal but was allowed to stay in the stadium after signing an agreement not to post any video or images.

However, Hurley uploaded video footage to his new website MixBit. The footage promptly went viral and now West and Kardashian are seeking unspecified damages from Hurley and his company, Avos Systems Inc. Billboard reports that West allowed other cameras to film the event for possible broadcast on E! Entertainment Television, home to his fiancee's show Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

"Exclusive rights, such as those sold by plaintiffs to publication of video of the event, are particularly valuable," the lawsuit states. "If people violate these rights ... they are of substantially diminished value."

Meanwhile, bookmakers Paddy Power are offering odds of 5/1 on Kanye West being his own best man when he marries Kim Kardashian. West's friend John Legend is the current favourite to perform for the couple at the reception at odds of 1/3, but the 'Yeezus' rapper is also on the list to perform himself with odds of 1/2.

Other elements of the wedding people can bet on include the colour of Kardashian's dress, celebrity names on the guestlist, the location of the ceremony and the song the couple will use for their first dance. For the latter category, candidates include 'At Last' by Etta James, Alicia Keys' 'If I Ain't Got You' and West's own 'Gold Digger', an outside bet at 33/1.
