A representative for Burger King has denied reports earlier this week (March 27) that said Kanye West had bought bought fiancée Kim Kardashian 10 branches of Burger King as a wedding present.

They do, however, say they are available to cater the wedding.

The couple are due to wed at some point this year and Gawker reported that West had snapped up a number of European branches of the burger giant, reportedly now owning branches in the UK, Italy and France. The rapper already owns several Chicago Fatburger locations in his home town.

In a statement issued to NME, a Burger King Spokesperson said: "Burger King Corp. is familiar with the recent news stories regarding Kanye West and Kim Kardashian."

"We are unaware of any purchase of BURGER KING® restaurants made by either Mr. West or Ms. Kardashian, but we're available to cater the wedding!"

Earlier this week, Kanye West announced details of a European tour this summer. The 'Yeezus' rapper will play a series of live shows ahead of his headline appearance at UK festival Wireless, which this year takes place in London and Birmingham.

Kanye West will play:

Montpellier Park & Suites Arena (June 21)
Frankfurt Festhalle (23)
Cologne Lanxess Arena (24)
Brussels Palace 12 (25)
Copenhagen Forum (27)
Bravalla Festival Sweden (28)
Oslo Spektrum (29)
Berlin O2 World (July 1)
Amsterdam Ziggo Dome (July 2)
