Fans are speculating online over the possibility of a feud between Kanye West and Jay-Z after West repeatedly skipped his 'Watch The Throne' partner's name in song lyrics during his recent Austin X Music Festival performance.

According to The Guardian, the issue was first raised on an online Kanye forum by a user who was at the X Music gig.

The forum user wrote: "First time he [skipped Jay Z’s name], I [thought], 'Ehh that’s odd, maybe he's just letting the crowd finish it whatever,'" he continued, "then [Kanye] skipped his name again… definitely obvious and intentional."

The user found fan videos of West performing 'Cold' and 'Blood on the Leaves' where West appeared to intentionally drop Jay’s name. West deviated from the original lines in the recorded version of 'Blood on the Leaves' which go: "I don’t give a damn if you used to talk to Jay Z/ He ain't with you, he with Beyonce, you need to stop actin' lazy." Instead, West omitted Jay's name and changed the last line to: "You need to stop actin' crazy!"

Jay Z missed West's recent wedding to Kim Kardashian in Italy, choosing instead to spend a weekend in the Hamptons with his wife Beyonce. Although the couple were reportedly invited to the bash, they have yet to provide an explanation for their absence.

Kanye and Kim were wed at a 16th century Forte di Belvedere in Florence, Italy last month (May) in a celebration that included performances from Andrea Bocelli and Lana Del Rey.
