Sources close to rapper Kanye West have allegedly ruled out the possibility of his second child with wife Kim Kardashian being named South West, after the pair called their first-born daughter North West.

Kardashian gave birth to her and West's first child, who is known by the nickname 'Nori', in June 2013, with the pair marrying in May 2014. The news of Kardashian's pregnancy was revealed in an episode of reality TV show Keeping Up With the Kardashians last month (May 31).

With speculation that the couple could follow their compass point theme of naming their offspring, TMZ have now claimed that "there will be no sequel to North West". The report states that "they want the name to be strong. With North, there was a power element because it’s always on top, or pointing up. The other three just don't have that swagger."

Kardashian is due to give birth to the couple's child in December.

Meanwhile, Glastonbury co-organiser Emily Eavis has revealed that she received death threats after booking Kanye West to headline this year's festival.

Ye's appearance was confirmed in March by Eavis herself, who tweeted the news. But in what has resembled the backlash sparked by the booking of Jay Z in 2008, some festival-goers have been angered by the selection, with an online petition calling for Kanye to be replaced by a rock band attracting more than 133,000 signatures.

In a new interview with The Times, Eavis, who organises the festival with her father, Glastonbury founder Michael, has asserted that attracting West is "an amazing coup", but said some of the abuse she's received has been "just horrible".

She added: "I had death threats and stuff. It was just horrible. It was just crazy. It was getting out of control. We had Time magazine, all the American news channels saying they were going to come down. This incredible onslaught worldwide.

"It was quite upsetting because we were talking about something that was so exciting and interesting and fresh and brilliant for the festival. Kanye West is making the most exciting music at the moment. He is an amazing force as a performer. For us, getting the biggest star in the world was an amazing coup."

Kanye West's new album - currently titled 'Swish' - is expected for release later in 2015.
