Kanye West is seeking 1200 extras for a event he is throwing at Madison Square Garden next week.

As reported, the US rapper will launch his new album with a listening party and fashion show in New York. The arena event will mark the launch of West's Yeezy Season 3 range with Adidas and the release of his new album. Said album currently has no title, having been called 'Swish' and 'Waves' in recent months.

The event sold out in just 10 minutes and will be streamed in cinemas around the world. However, one way fans can be involved is to be one of over 1000 extras performing in the event. Spin reports that Onset Productions, will pay between $50 and $80 per day for the day's work.

The extras will have their hair and make-up done before being “positioned throughout the floor in Madison Square Garden in a fully designed set.” Rehearsals will take place in Long Island on February 9, with another taking place at Madison Square Garden on February 10 before the event itself on February 11.

The listing reads as follows: "Yeezy Season 3 is launching a casting for up to 1200 paid extras to participate in the exclusive Yeezy Season 3 fashion show and premiere of Kanye West’s upcoming album at Madison Square Garden on February 11th. Extras will be among the first in the world to hear the new album and meals will be provided."

Earlier this week West elaborated on comments he previously made about his upcoming new album, having suggested that the record was the greatest ever made.

Last month, the rapper tweeted of 'Waves': "This is not album of the year. This is album of the life." However, West has now backtracked on his remarks, stating that the album is not the greatest of all-time, but just one of them.
