Kanye West is launching pop-up shops devoted to his current album ‘The Life Of Pablo’ this weekend.

The stores, in 21 locations around the world, will sell merchandise linking to the album, though details of exactly what this will be is remaining secret until the stores actually open.

West tweeted a map showing where the cities will be, which include London, Berlin, Cape Town, Sydney, Detroit, New York, Los Angeles and his home town of Chicago. The exact locations in each city are to be revealed later today (August 18), 24 hours before the shops themselves open. It’s expected the stores will be open for three days.

In March, a West-themed pop-up shop opened for three days in the Soho district of New York. Demand was so high that customers queued for several hours before being allowed inside.

Vogue has said that merchandise will include T-shirts and hoodies with each ctiy’s name written in the gothic font favoured by the merchandise’s designer, artist Cali Thornhill DeWitt.

West also launched pop-up shops for his previous two albums, Jay-Z joint album ‘Watch The Throne’ in 2011 and ‘Yeezus’ in 2013. The ‘Watch The Throne’ store only sold copies of the album, but the ‘Yeezus’ store, also in New York, sold various exclusive merchandise.
