KASABIAN played a secret show last night (June 15) in the heart of LONDON's WESTMINSTER.

Having previously stated their political feelings in NME, the Leicester five-piece played a gig for competition winners in The Cabinet War Rooms in Westminster.

The War Rooms, situated underground in between Buckingham Palace and The Houses Of Parliament, were built during WWII to allow Winston Churchill to continue working throughout unexpected air raids on the capital.

Arriving onstage to a rapturous reception, the band’s set included singles ‘Club Foot’, which went into the Top 20, ‘Reason Is Treason’ and ‘Processed Beats’, as well as live favourite ‘55’ and forthcoming single ‘LSF’.

As previously reported on NME.COM, Kasabian will play alongside Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Rapture and The Stills at an exclusive free gig later month in London.

Carling Live's 'Taste Of Summer' event will take place at the Carling Hammersmith Apollo on June 24 to mark the start of the festival season.
