The T In The Park bill has grown just 24 hours before the festival kick offs (July 8).

Kasabian have now confirmed that they will be headlining the Pet Sounds Arena on July 9.

The band, who are expected to give fans a sneak preview of forthcoming second album ‘Empire’, join Larrikin Love who only cemented their appearance at this year’s bash yesterday June 6.

Speaking to NME.COM, Kasabian frontman Tom Meighan revealed he was looking forward to getting back to playing live again.

"We were at the top of our game," he declared. "I don’t think any band could have touched us live-wise last year. We were just running away with the live performance and now we can't wait to do that again."

NME.COM will be on site at T In The Park all weekend, so keep checking for the latest news and blogs straight from this year’s bash.
