Kasabian’s ‘Empire’ remains at the top of the NME Chart for a second week, beating off competition from the likes of The View.

New entries in the chart include The Fratellis, entering the chart at Number Five with ‘Chelsea Smile’, emo rockers Dashboard Confessional debut at Number Six with ‘Don’t Wait’ while Little Man Tate enter at Number Ten with ’House Party At Boothys’.

This week’s NME Chart is:

1. Kasabian - ‘Empire’
2. The View – ‘Wasted Little DJs’
3. Boy Kill Boy - ‘Civil Sin’
4. Futureheads - ‘Worry About It Later’
5. The Fratellis - ‘Chelsea Smile’
6. Dashboard Confessional – ‘Don’t Wait’
7. The Young Knives - ‘Weekends And Bleak Days’
8. CSS - ‘Let’s Make Love And Listen To Death From Above’
9. Metric - ‘Monster Hospital’
10. Little Man Tate – ‘House Party At Boothys’

Will Kasabian make it three weeks in a row or will the Arctic Monkeys return with ’Leave Before The Lights Come One’ and Thom Yorke releases ‘Harrowdown Hill’ nick the top spot?
