Kasabian close iTunes festival
Band return to scene of first ever London gig
The download service has been staging a gig a night at the ICA in the capital for with the likes of Amy Winehouse, Paul McCartney, Editors and The Coral among those perforing.
Playing to just 350 fans at the intimate venue, the band quickly provided a celebratory feel to the festival's final night kicking things off with 'Shoot The Runner'.
"Hello ICA, it's great to be here," declared frontman Tom Meighan shortly afterwards, "It's really intimate, really close."
Playing the likes of 'Sun/Rise/Light/Flies' and the Serge Pizzorno-fronted 'Me Plus One', the band clearly revelled swapping the festival circuit for the tiny hall.
"I like this intimate gig," Meighan told the crowd ahead of 'Empire', "it's like you're in bed with Kasabian - under the blankets!"
The singer then recalled the last time the band had played the art gallery venue.
"Our first show in London was here with a band called The Open," recalled Meighan. "A lot has changed thanks to you lot."
The band then dedicated 'The Last Trip' to support band The Dead 60s.
They then wrapped the show up with a touching version of 'The Doberman' before storming home with 'Club Foot', 'Stuntman' and 'LSF'.
