Kasabian will play a headline slot on the final day of the Brighton Great Escape festival, set to take place on May 14-16 across various venues in the UK coastal city.

British Sea Power, Little Boots, Lightspeed Champion, Metronomy and Future Of The Left have also been confirmed for the bash.

Along with their confirmed appearance at one the Teenage Cancer Trust gigs in London on March 27, Kasabian's headline slot at the Brighton Dome on May 16 will mark the live debut of songs set for their forthcoming third album.

"I'm really buzzing for playing the album," guitarist Serge Pizzorno told NME.COM. "We've just been rehearsing and it's like getting the suit back on."

See the new issue of NME, out tomorrow (February 18), for the full interview with Pizzorno.
