Kasabian have been announced as the a headline act for this year's Eden Sessions.

The Leicester band will play Cornwall's Eden Project on July 4. Support acts are yet to be announced.

The band join Oasis on the bill for this year's sessions, with the Gallagher's set to play a rescheduled gig on July 14.

Oasis were originally due to play the Eden Project last September, but were forced to cancel due to Noel Gallagher being attacked onstage during a gig in Toronto.

Tickets for Kasabian's Eden Sessions gig go on sale on February 24 at 6pm (GMT).
