Kasabian's new album is called 'West Rider Pauper Lunatic Asylum'.

The follow up to 'Empire' (2007) was recorded in San Francisco last year.

Although no tracklisting for the album has been released yet, HMV.co.uk is listing 'West Rider Pauper Lunatic Asylum' as being released on June 8.

According to Historytohistory.org, the 'West Riding Pauper Lunatic Asylum' was located in the village of Stanley, on the outskirts of Wakefield.

Opening in 1818, the building housed 1469 patients from across West Yorkshire.

West Riding is a theme on the record with a track, 'West Riding Silver Bullet', set to feature on the finished record.

As first revealed by NME.COM, the track features frontman Tom Meighan dueting with 'Sin City' actress Rosario Dawson.
