Kasabian celebrated winning the British Group award at tonight's (February 16) Brit Awards by playing a sell-out show at London's O2 Shepherds Bush Empire in aid of the War Child charity.

The band headed over to the west London venue straight from the Brit Awards, and took to the stage well past midnight.

The band, led by Tom Meighan kicked off their set with old favourite 'Club Foot', followed by 'Underdog'. Meighan then referenced Kasabian's win at the Brits earlier in the evening, though he had trouble remembering the name of the gong they actually picked up (it was the best British Group).

"Best band, whatever it was...something like that," Meighan told to the audience before adding that he thinks Kasabian are currently the "best band in Britain, bar fucking none!"

During 'Empire', Meighan again praised the audience, and the charity, saying: "Raise your hands for War Child, all of you."

For 'Fire', the band were joined by a brass section, with all three members shaking hands with Meighan during the track.

For the band's final song, 'Vlad The Impaler', they were joined by The Mighty Boosh's Noel Fielding, who reprised his role from the song's video and came on wielding a spear while dressed in a black cape and make-up.

Kasabian played:

'Club Foot'
'Underdog'
'Where Did All The Love Go?'
'Shoot The Runner'
'Processed Beats'
'Stuntman'
'Empire'
'Fast Fuse'
'Fire'
'Vlad The Impaler'

Earlier in the evening, La Roux and Calvin Harris also played well-received sets.

La Roux took to the stage first, playing a series of tracks from her eponymous debut album including 'Quicksand' and 'In For The Kill'. Heaven 17's Glenn Gregory joined singer Elly Jackson for a joint rendition of 'Temptation' towards the end of her set.

Calvin Harris then performed, playing a DJ set of his songs while roadies cleared away La Roux's equipment in preparation for Kasabian. Harris' set included his own songs along with versions of The Temper Trap's 'Sweet Disposition' and Dizzee Rascal's 'Bonkers'.
