Kasabian's Serge Pizzorno has scored a new British movie.

The guitarist and songwriter has written the incidental music for crime film London Boulevard, along with a series of stand-alone songs which he performs.

The film is directed by William Monahan, who was the screenwriter for The Departed, and features the likes of Colin Farrell, Keira Knightley, David Thewlis, Anna Friel and Ray Winstone.

London Boulevard, an adaptation of the novel by Ken Bruen, is set for release on November 26. Meanwhile, Kasabian are set to record and release their fourth album next year.
