Kasabian have been voted as the best act at this year's T In The Park festival by NME.COM readers.

The Leicestershire band brought the Scottish festival to a close on Sunday night (July 8), declaring T In The Park "empire". Ignoring the rain, the band packed their setlist with no fewer than 17 tracks, including 'Club Foot', 'Shoot The Runner' and 'Fire'.

After Kasabian's set, festivalgoer Gillian Cross told NME: "Kasabian were brilliant. They were well worth wading through all this mud for. Those who went home early missed a great gig; they're just all lightweights. I loved 'Shoot The Runner'."

Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds came a close second in the poll, while The Stone Roses finished third. Other acts to place inside the Top 10 include The Enemy, The Vaccines and Kaiser Chiefs.

However, several notable acts who performed at T In The Park missed out on a place in the highly competitive Top 10. Florence And The Machine finished 14th, while the poll ended with New Order in 18th position.

The top ten bands at this year's T In The Park festival:
