Kasabian mainman Serge Pizzorno has said that he would love to work with Jack White.

The multi-instrumentalist, who headlined Reading And Leeds Festivals with his bandmates over the weekend, has said that though he believes the band work best on their own most of the time, he believes a hook-up with the former White Stripes man would really work.

He told Daily Star: "We like to do our own thing most of the time but there's one person I can see me working with and that's Jack White. I respect Jack, and in some way, shape or form we'd love to kick around in the studio with him."

Pizzorno also spoke about the band's plans for their fifth studio album and said that he has "played with some ideas". He also said that with four albums under his belt already, he feels like he has "the Kasabian sound down".

He said of his plans for the follow-up to 'Velociraptor!': "We've played around with some ideas. I've been lucky because I’ve produced all the records. I’m always on the lookout for people I can learn from, but I've kind of got the Kasabian sound down. That doesn’t mean I don’t like it if somebody asks me to produce their work."

Kasabian covered Fatboy Slim's 'Praise You' and The Beatles' 'She Loves You' as they headlined Reading Festival headliners on Saturday (August 25).
