Kasabian have announced a one-off concert in aid of homeless charity Shelter, taking place at the Mode bar in London’s Notting Hill on September 9.

Tickets for the gig, which is in association with Absolute Radio, go on sale at 9am on Tuesday. The capacity for the show is just 500.

Guitarist Sergio Pizzorno said: “Everyone needs a place to call home. It keeps you grounded, and helps give you strength to push forward. What Shelter do is amazing, and we want to back that.”

The show will be the band’s first in the capital since they played a warm-up concert at O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire on June 18 as a warm-up for their headline show at Glastonbury and a homecoming stadium at Leicester’s Victoria Park. Kasabian released new single ‘Bumbleee’ from their ’48:13’ album this month, featuring new song ‘Gelfing’ on the B-side.

Kasabian go on an 18-date tour of the UK and Ireland from November, including five nights at O2 Academy Brixton.

Kasabian will play:
Glasgow SSE Hydro (November 19)
Leeds First Direct Arena (21)
Birmingham LG Arena (22)
Cardiff Metropoint Arena (23)
Bournemouth International Centre (25)
Brighton Centre (26)
Nottingham Capital FM Arena (28-29)
O2 Academy Brixton (December 1-2, 4-6)
Dublin O2 (8)
Belfast Odyssey Arena (9)
Newcastle Metro Radio Arena (11)
Manchester Phones4U Arena (12)
Sheffield Motorpoint Arena (13)
