Kate Bush has added seven extra nights to her recently announced series of live shows.

The new dates, taking place in September and October, bring the total number of shows up to 22. They follow huge demand for a pre-sale allocation available today (March 26) to fans registered at her official website, which sold out in 30 minutes.

The run of shows will be called Before The Dawn and will begin on August 26. The new dates are September 20, 23, 24, 26, 27 and 30 and October 1.

Kate Bush has not toured since 1979. Tickets for all the dates go onsale at 9.30am on Friday, March 28.

Last year, Kate Bush received a CBE for services to music from the Queen at a ceremony at Windsor Castle. The singer made a rare public appearance to accept the accolade, issuing a statement which read: "I feel incredibly thrilled to receive this honour which I share with my family, friends and fellow musicians and everybody who has been such an important part of it all. Now I've got something special to put on top of the Christmas tree."
