Kate Nash is Number One

Singer's incredible rise continues with chart-topping album

Kate Nash has topped the UK album chart today (August 11).

The London singing sensation's debut album 'Made Of Bricks' is a new entry at the top of the charts.

Nash's album was moved forward five weeks following the soaraway success of her song 'Foundations', which sits at Number Four in the singles chart, having peaked at Number Two.

Meanwhile, alternative pop starlet Robyn moves up to the top of the singles chart, climbing five places with 'With Every Heartbeat'.

Kanye West is the highest new entry, with the Daft Punk-sampling 'Stronger', while pop-rockers Plain White Ts move up four places to five.
