Kate Nash, Enter Shikari join Big Day Out line-up

The bill for the Antipodean festival expands

Kate Nash, Enter Shikari and NME Freshers Tour favourites Operator Please have all been added to the line-up for the annual Big Day Out travelling festival.

The bash will be held in New Zealand and Australia from January 18 – February 3 next year.

Carl Cox, UNKLE, Anti-Flag, Dr. Octagon, Spoon, Shy Child, Die! Die! Die! and local heroes Silverchair are some of the bands who have been added to the bill.

As previously reported on NME.COM, they join a line-up including Bjork, Rage Against The Machine, Arcade Fire, Dizzee Rascal, Battles, LCD Soundsystem, Billy Bragg, Midnight Juggernauts and Cut Off Your Hands.

RATM’s Tom Morello has also announced he’ll be doing his own sets during the Big Day Out tour, performing under his solo alter ego, The Nightwatchman.

Auckland Mt Smart Stadium (January 18)
Gold Coast Parklands (20)
Sydney Showgrounds (25)
Melbourne Flemington Racecourse (28)
Adelaide Showground (February 1)
Perth Claremont Showgrounds (3)
