Kate Nash has paid tribute to boyfriend Ryan Jarman's band The Cribs - and you can listen to it now on NME.COM.

The singer has taken on 'Man's Needs' for an exclusive NME CD.

You can also hear Lightspeed Champion covering Amy Winehouse and Kaiser Chiefs tackling the Klaxons.

Both bands are on the bill for the Shockwaves NME Awards Big Gig which takes place on Thursday (February 28) at the O2 Arena.

Bloc Party and this year’s Godlike Geniuses, Manic Street Preachers, are also playing.

I'm beginning not to trust NME- because of her connection with The Cribs are we now to have this rubbish forced on us.

kate nash is terrible, seems to think it's up to her to destroy music for everyone. Just because she's going out with Ryan Jarman, it doesn't mean that we have to hear her mockney accent belting out terrible songs. Why they let her cover that song in the first place i don't know - it's slaughter.
