Kate Nash played an afternoon slot at the T In The Park festival today (July 12) and, despite the fine weather in Scotland, tried to convince the crowd that they were submerged in water.
Towards the end of the set, Nash was joined by a bizarre troupe of dancers clad in skeleton-style costumes and wild hair pieces.
Taking the stage at 2:30pm (BST), Nash played on a stage adorned with elaborate sea-themed props with a blue aquatic backdrop designed to make the set appear underwater. The singer sat at a piano atop an enormous sea shell prop.
Before playing 'Birds', Nash left the confines of the shell and donned a semi-acoustic guitar to play the slow song which was met by cheers, in particular from a large gathering of fans waving flags near the front of the stage.
The London musician then played a new song, 'Do Wah Do', which featured a segment of 'Do Wah Diddy' by Manfred Mann in the intro and a rollocking drum-led rhythm.
Shortly before playing 'Skeleton Song', Nash said, "I'm going to invite some friends onstage now for this song."
Four dancers wearing skeleton costumes and blonde afro wigs then bounded on stage and danced for the duration of the number.
Kate Nash followed the dance with 'Foundations' and 'Merry Happy' to close her set.
