Kate Nash and her boyfriend, The Cribs' Ryan Jarman, along with Ross Jarman, have recorded a cover of Wham!'s 1984 single 'Last Christmas'. You can listen to the song by clicking on the player below, or you can download it for free by visiting Kate Nash's website, myignorantyouth.com.

Along with posting the song, Nash included the message:

Merry Christmas Eve! A gift from us to you. Hope you enjoy listening, we enjoyed making this Christmas Number One!

According to Ross Jarman's Twitter page, the song, on which he plays drums, was recorded in his garage.

Kate Nash is currently working on material for her third studio album, which is expected to be released in 2012. This will be the follow-up to her 2010 record 'My Best Friend Is You'. The singer recently announced that she is running after school clubs for girls interested in music careers.

The Cribs, who will be playing a one-off 2012 NME Awards show in London on February 28, have revealed that they have begun recording their fifth studio album, without Johnny Marr. The band have recorded in studios in New York, Chicago and London, and have teamed up with producers Dave Fridmann (Mercury Rev, The Flaming Lips) and Steve Albini (Nirvana, Pixies).
