Kate Nash teams up with LA punks FIDLAR on new song

The Brit singer-songwriter features on the skate punk band's track 'AWWWKWAARRRDDD'

Kate Nash has collaborated with Los Angeles punk band and NME Radar favourites FIDLAR on a song entitled 'AWWWKWAARRRDDD'.

FIDLAR posted their track earlier today (October 12) on Tumblr. Click here to listen: fidlar.tumblr.com. Kate Nash has previously covered the FIDLAR track 'Cocaine'.

FIDLAR embark on a three date tour of the UK in December. The four-piece will play London Dingwalls (December 4), Manchester Soup Kitchen (6) and Glasgow Cathouse (7).

They release their self-titled debut album on February 4, 2013, via Wichita.

Meanwhile, Kate Nash will play a Buffy The Vampire Slayer themed gig in London for Halloween. The show will take place on October 31 at the Hackney Picturehouse.

Kate Nash is currently mastering her new album and will also be releasing an EP in the coming months. Of the new album, which was recorded in LA, she has said: "It's a real mix of angsty shouting, pop harmonies, surfy twangy sounding guitars and big bass sounds."
