Katy B and Annie Lennox are set to perform together during the WOW – Women of the World festival at London's Southbank Centre next month.

Jess Mills and Emeli Sandé will also appear at the show, called EQUALS Live, which takes place on March 9 at the Royal Festival Hall.

The awareness raising concert is being promoted in association with gender equality coalition Equals and will be hosted by Lennox. Of the show, Lennox said: "I'm so proud to be hosting an evening of British female artists in celebration of International Women's Day. EQUALS Live at Southbank Centre will shine a spotlight on an incredible new generation of women in music who are raising their voices in solidarity with women across the globe."

She continued: "International Women's Day is the perfect time to reignite debate about what a more equal world would look like with a new generation and to finish the work of the women and men who paved the way before us."

Gaggle, Sinead O'Connor and Emmy The Great will also be taking part in the festival - which takes place March 7-11 - with live performances. For more information visit: Southbankcentre.co.uk/wow
