Katy Perry denies she's divorcing Russell Brand

Singer also scotches pregnancy rumours

Katy Perry has taken to Twitter to deny tabloid rumours that she is pregnant or getting divorced from husband Russell Brand.

Posting on Twitter, the 'I Kissed A Girl' singer wrote:

First I'm pregnant & then I'm divorced. What am I, All My Children?!


Perry married Brand at a ceremony in India in October 2010.

The singer was reported to be taking a year off from music to start a family with Brand. A source told the New York Post that Perry had informed her managers that after the completion of her American Dreams tour, which ended on November 23, she would take a year off.

Meanwhile, It was recently revealed that the singer's scenes had been cut from 'The Muppets' film.

Writer Nick Stoller said of Perry's scene: "At one point we had squirrels singing, 'I Kissed A Squirrel' or it was Miss Piggy singing "'I Kissed A Squirrel' and I Liked It." More and more squirrels are lining up to kiss her, and she’s getting weirded out."
