Katy Perry has said that she will write a song for Hilary Clinton if she bids to become the next President of the United States.

Perry made her offer public while sharing a picture of herself with Clinton, who is tipped make a bid to take over from Barack Obama in 2016. The pair met at a signing for Clinton's new book Hard Choices, which offers readers an insight into her four spent years as America's 67th Secretary of State.

Posting the picture seen above to Instagram, Perry wrote: "I told hillaryclinton that I would write her a "theme" song if she needs it... " Clinton then replied, via Twitter, and said: "Well that’s not a Hard Choice. You already did! Keep letting us hear you Roar."

Despite Perry's offer of support, Clinton has not yet officially announced whether or not she will run for President in 2016. A decision is expected soon though with Clinton herself saying recently that she will "decide by the end of the year."

Katy Perry recently launched her own record label. Metamorphosis Music is a joint venture with the 'Roar' singer's label Capitol Records, which has released her three albums to date. Perry's first signing to her own imprint is pop singer Ferras, whose debut EP features Perry on a track called 'Legends Never Die' and is executive produced by her as well.
