Welcome to the Daily Gossip: your daily stop-off to find out who in the world of music has been up to what.

Today's top gossip:

Keane's Tom Chaplin says he wants to bury the hatchet with Oasis' Noel Gallagher, by getting the Oasis man to produce the Battle band. Now, Chaplin says he thinks it's time the two bands made up properly. "We are both bands of the people," he said. "It would be great for Noel to produce us – I offer the olive branch. We're huge fans." Following Keane's V Festival performance, Liam Gallagher paid tribute to them on his Twitter account. "Respect to those bands who covered Oasis last night," he Tweeted. "Even though I might of [sic] given some of you shit in the past" (Daily Star).
