Kelis is currently streaming a brand new song, entitled 'Rumble'.

Click below to listen to the song, which comes from her new album, 'Food', set for release on April 22. The R&B singer has signed to UK based experimental label Ninja Tune for the record. Speaking to NME, Kelis called the vintage soul album "really honest". She added: "It's extremely melodic and it's kind of funny at times. I think is my favourite album. But I always say that."

Last year Kelis debuted the song 'Jerk Ribs'. Other songs set for the album include 'Breakfast', 'Cobbler' and 'Friday Fish Fry'. The follow-up to 2010's 'Flesh Tone' has been produced by TV On The Radio's Dave Sitek, who also worked on Beady Eye's 2013 album, 'BE'.

Speaking about working with Sitek, Kelis commented: "He's a genius. He's brilliant enough to step back when he should, and that's the sign of a really amazing producer. We hardly ever talk about music, we just make it."
