Kid Cudi, Chester French for free New York gig

Kid Cudi and Chester French are gearing up for a free show to take place at New York City’s South Street Seaport tomorrow (June 26).

DJing between acts are Les Savy Fav, with proceedings kicking off at 5.30pm at Pier 17.

The event entitled ‘Sounds Like Paper 2009’, is free, and is part of a string of free shows that will take place at the lower Manhattan pier over the course of the summer.

As previously reported, The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion performed a free show at the same location last week to celebrate Bike Fest 2009.

The regular schedule of the River To River shows at Pier 17 will kick off on July 3.
