Unkle Kracker was arrested in North Carolina today (August 17) on a second-degree sex offence charge.
The former Kid Rock DJ was charged after a 26-year-old woman alleged that a man had committed a sexual act against her at a local nightclub, according to authorities.
The police picked up Kracker, whose real name is Matthew Shafer, at a hotel in Cary, North Carolina. They had a warrant charging him with second-degree forcible sex offence, reports the Associated Press.
Kracker is being held at Wake County Jail on a $5 million bond. He is expected to appear in court later this afternoon.
