Kid Rock scores his first Number One album

Kid Rock has topped the US Billboard chart this week with his very first Number One album.

The Michigan rocker's 'Rock 'N' Roll Jesus' debuted at Number One, selling 170,000 copies in the first week of its release, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

Kid Rock knocked Bruce Springsteen from the top spot, as 'Magic' fell to Number Two, selling approximately 130,000 copies - down 60 per cent from the previous week when it debuted at Number One.

Rascal Flatts' 'Still Feel Good', LeAnn Rimes' 'Family' and Matchbox Twenty's 'Exile On Mainstream' rounded out the Top Five.

Meanwhile, Kanye West's 'Graduation' is holding steady at Number Six.
