Kid Rock not to be charged after Tommy Lee punch up

Authorities will not pursue VMA battery charge

Kid Rock not to be charged after Tommy Lee punch up

Kid Rock will not be charged after his fight with Tommy Lee at September’s MTV Video Music Awards in Las Vegas.

The pair were involved in a scuffle in the main room on the night of the ceremony (September 9).

Reports suggest Lee started the trouble earlier in the evening by antagonising Rock, who was sitting nearby.

However, Chief Deputy District Attorney Ron Bloxham said: “The Clark County District Attorney’s Office will not pursue a battery charge. It should be noted that Tommy Lee has requested that there be no prosecution relating to the incident and there were no injuries to either person.”

Rock still faces a misdemeanour battery charge in a waffle house brawl in Atlanta, reports People.
