Rocker says he's pleased with jury's decision

A Michigan jury has dismissed a lawsuit against Kid Rock.

In a decision issued Friday (April 18), the jury dismissed a suit brought by Kelly Ann Kozlowski for $25,000 in which she alleged that the rocker roughed her up outside his Michigan recording studio.

Authorities investigated the incident but did not bring charges, reports the Associated Press.

The attorney for Kid Rock, whose real name is Robert James Ritchie, said he and his client are pleased with the outcome. Kozlowski's attorney said he plans to appeal.
