Killswitch Engage drummer Justin Foley has revealed that he will be joining the ranks of fellow Massachusetts metallers Unearth for their upcoming UK dates.

Unearth parted ways with former drummer Derek Kerswill last year prior to the recording of the group's new album 'Darkness In The Light'. Killswitch Engage drummer Foley provided drum duties for the album earlier this year, and was announced to be part of the group's upcoming tour plans in a statement yesterday (June 14).

“I’m really looking forward to playing with some old friends, and spending a summer full of beers and breakdowns!,” said Foley. "It’s great to have Justin on board for [US Tour] Mayhem and [UK and European tour] Hell On Earth," added Unearth frontman Trevor Phipps. "We really wanted to start this album cycle with Justin behind the kit since he played on and completely slayed the new album. We’ve been friends for a long time and we recorded an album together, so this just makes sense and it gives us even more to look forward to this summer.”

The upcoming Hell On Earth tour will feature a headline slot from Unearth, plus support from Bane, Evergreen Terrace, Nasty, Casey Jones and Full Blown Chaos. The band's new album 'Darkness In The Light' will be released on July 4 through Metal Blade records.
