Kings Of Leon drummer Nathan Followill has announced that he and wife Jessie Baylin are expecting their first child.

The sticksman announced the news yesterday (June 27), tweeting: "I can proudly announce that me and the lovely Jessie Baylin are expecting our first child. I'm beyond excited/anxious. Life is beautiful."

Followill married Baylin, who is a folk singer, at a private ceremony in 2009. The couple have yet to announce when the baby is due.

The news of Followill's impending fatherhood follows hot on the heels of the news that his bandmate Caleb Followill and wife Lily Aldridge welcomed their first child, a baby girl, last week.

Kings Of Leon are currently taking time off after completing their lengthy world tour in support of their fifth album 'Come Around Sundown', which they released in October 2010.
