Kings Of Leon have confirmed that they will headline Rock Werchter festival in Belgium next year.

The announcement follows the news earlier this week that the band will play Optmius Alive festival in Portugal next summer, suggesting the band will have their new album out in time for the 2013 festival season.

Kings of Leon join Blur at Rock Werchter, which takes place in Werchter, Belgium between 4 – 7 July. Depeche Mode, Editors, Green Day and Rammstein will also perform.

Speaking about Kings Of Leon's new LP, bassist Jared Followill recently revealed that a new album will be finished early next year. "We are in the writing process right now and it's coming along pretty quickly," he said. "We'll definitely get into the studio but we you know we have no plans of finishing it this year but definitely early next year, so I think people should expect something from us sooner rather than later."
