Kings Of Leon have been booked by Chelsea FC owner Roman Abramovich to play his £5 million New Year's Eve party.

The celeb bash will take place at Abramovich's estate on the Caribbean island of St Barts tomorrow night (December 31) and see the band playing to 400 specially invited guests, reports The Sun.

It was initially thought that Rihanna would be providing the live music at the party, but the guitar four-piece will be playing instead.

Kings Of Leon drummer Nathan Followill became a father for the first time earlier this week, after his wife gave birth to a daughter on December 27.

The drummer, who is married to singer Jesse Baylin, tweeted about the birth of daughter Violet, writing: "I can proudly announce the birth of my sweet angel Violet Marlowe Followill. My heart has been stolen and it feels so good."

The news was then confirmed by a representative for Kings of Leon who revealed that Violet was born at 4:01pm, weighing 7lbs 13ounces.

Violet Marlowe is the third Kings of Leon child, joining frontman Caleb's daughter Dixie Pearl and guitarist Matthew Followill's son Knox Cameron.

Kings Of Leon are currently working on their sixth LP, the follow-up to 2010's 'Come Around Sundown'.

The band have confirmed details of a UK tour in 2013 and will play shows in London, Manchester and Birmingham in June and July. The Nashville-based band will play London O2 Arena on June 12 and 13 before playing Manchester Arena on June 24 and 25. The short tour then runs to Birmingham's LG Arena on July 9 and 10.
