Kings of Leon and Vampire Weekend added to iTunes Festival line-up

Sigur Ros, Paramore and Rizzle Kicks also added to month-long series of London gigs

Kings Of Leon and Vampire Weekend lead the latest additions to this year's iTunes Festival.

Both bands will perform at the Roundhouse in Camden during September with Kings of Leon performing on September 11 and Vampire Weekend following four days later on September 15. Other new additions to the bill today (June 19) include Paramore, Sigur Ros, Rizzle Kicks and composer Ludovico Einaudi.

Justin Timberlake, Jake Bugg, Thirty Seconds To Mars, Queens Of The Stone Age, Jack Johnson, Primal Scream, Phoenix and Jessie J have already been announced as the first batch of headliners for this year's event.

Running every night in September at the Roundhouse in Camden, London, the iTunes Festival features over 60 acts performing at the venue. Tickets are free for competition winners and all performances can be watched live or on-demand on Apple devices and via iTunes.

The first iTunes Festival took place at London's Institute of Contemporary Arts in 2007, and featured performers including Paul McCartney and Amy Winehouse. Since then, the annual event has had shows from artists including Adele, Coldplay, Foo Fighters, Jack White and Oasis.
