Kings Of Leon are set to co-host a food festival next month in Nashville.

Music City Eats is being put on by Caleb and Nathan Followill in their hometown, alongside chef Jonathan Waxman and Ken Levitan and Andy Mendelsohn of Nashville's Vector Management, who manage Kings Of Leon. The festival will take place September 21-22 and feature chefs, live music, interactive demos and tasting sessions. For more information visit

The weekend festival will also encompass the Petty Fest Nashville, an all-star celebration of the music of Tom Petty. Hosted by Kings Of Leon, the concert will take place at Nashville's War Memorial Auditorium and feature Kings Of Leon, The Black Keys' Patrick Carney, Emmylou Harris, Norah Jones, Jakob Dylan, Ruby Amanfu, The Whigs and more performing the songs of Tom Petty.

Jonathan Waxman has said of Music City Eats: "A few years ago, Caleb Followill quietly slipped into my restaurant Barbuto in New York, and we bonded over food and music, and throughout our many conversations, he kept asking why there wasn't a food and wine festival in his hometown of Nashville. We are inviting some truly amazing chefs from around the country, and most importantly, the best chefs and restaurants in Nashville. I am extremely excited by our shindig, and the Kings and I can't wait until September rolls around."

Kings Of Leon release their sixth studio album, 'Mechanical Bull', on September 24. Fans pre-ordering the album from iTunes will receive the song 'Wait For Me' instantly. The band headline V Festival this coming weekend.
